Rachel Bagshaw

Rachel Bagshaw is an accomplished theatre director and artistic leader with extensive experience in the performing arts. Currently serving as the Artistic Director at Unicorn Theatre since November 2019, and the Peter Hall Bursary Associate at the National Theatre since November 2022, Rachel also works as a coach and facilitator with Support Squad since November 2020. With a solid background as a freelance theatre director since 2010 and previous roles including Resident Assistant Director at Young Vic and Training and Learning Projects Manager at Graeae Theatre, Rachel has demonstrated a commitment to producing innovative theatre and fostering talent. Rachel holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Theatre Directing from Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts and a BA in Theatre Studies with Music from the University of Lancaster, complemented by ongoing professional development through the National Theatre Studio Directors' course.
