Richard Coleby

Richard Coleby is an experienced sound and video resources professional with a strong background in live events technology. Currently serving as a Sound & Video Resources Technician at the National Theatre since May 2022, Richard previously held the position of Senior Live Events Engineer at RIBA, managing a variety of live, virtual, and hybrid events. Earlier roles include Audio Visual Technician at London Audio Visual Ltd and Nimlok Limited, where Richard contributed to the delivery of high-profile events and developed a range of technical skills. Richard's career began as an Acoustic Consultant Assistant at Peter Brett Associates, providing valuable support in acoustics. Richard holds a Bachelor's Degree in Sound Engineering and Production from Birmingham City University.
