Sam Howlett

Sam Howlett is an experienced professional in the film and media industry, currently serving as Distribution Manager at the National Theatre since April 2023. Prior to this role, Sam held the position of Global Programming Operations Manager at MUBI from April 2022 to April 2023, and was a Curzon Home Cinema Programmer from July 2018 to April 2022, where responsibilities included content delivery and supplier coordination. Sam's career began at Curzon Cinemas LTD, progressing from Front of House Staff to Marketing and Communications Executive, and co-hosting the Curzon Cinemas podcast to promote diverse cinema. Earlier experiences include a radio presenter role at CSR and a Selling Assistant position at John Lewis. Sam holds a Master of Arts in Film from the University of Kent, alongside a degree in English and American Literature and Film Studies from the same institution.
