Cyndi Lake is the current Safety Division Chief at the National Transportation Safety Board. Cyndi has extensive experience in public safety and emergency management, having served in various roles at Inova Alexandria Hospital, Volunteer Alexandria, and the Alexandria Health Department. Cyndi also served as a contract administrator at Exempla Healthcare and as a network consultant at Aetna. In addition to their professional experience, Lake is also a member of the National Capital Region Incident Management Team and a former volunteer EMT and EMS lieutenant with the Alexandria Volunteer Fire Department.
Cyndi Lake has a MPH from The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences in Environmental & Occupational Health, with a certificate in Public Health Emergency Management. Cyndi also has a BA in Cyndi'story and French from the University of Pittsburgh. Cyndi has completed some coursework towards a Masters in Humanities at the University of Colorado Denver, but has not finished the degree. Cyndi Lake is also certified as a teacher, but did not complete their certification at Metropolitan State University of Denver.
