Elias Kontanis

Elias Kontanis is the current TDA Division Chief at the National Transportation Safety Board. Elias has previous experience working as an Aviation Adventures, National Transportation Safety Board, and Joint POW/MIA Accounting Command - Central Identification Laboratory. Elias has been working in the field of transportation safety for over 15 years and has been instrumental in investigating some of the most high-profile aviation accidents in recent history.

Elias Kontanis received their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from Cornell University. Elias also holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biology, General from Binghamton University.

Their manager is Sharon Bryson, Managing Director. Elias Kontanis works with Loren Groff - Chief Data Officer, Erik Grosof - Special Operations Division Chief, and David Bowling - Central Region Chief.
