Shawn Currie

Shawn Currie is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in highway safety and investigation. Currently serving as a Senior Highway Accident Investigator at the National Transportation Safety Board since November 2015, Shawn emphasizes Motor Carrier and Hazardous Materials factors while overseeing major highway accident investigations. Previous roles include Technical Consultant at the Boston Consulting Group, Safety Investigator with the U.S. Department of Transportation, and Lieutenant at the Maine State Police, where management of motor carrier safety initiatives and a significant budget was pivotal.
