Bernard Donoghue OBE serves as a Freeman at The Worshipful Carpenters' Company since May 2024 and has held the position of Chair of the Regional Advisory Board for London and the South East England at the National Trust since December 2021. Bernard has been Chair of the Board of Directors at Bristol Old Vic since April 2021 and Co-Chair of the London Tourism Recovery Board since February 2021, where collaboration with industry leaders has led to impactful marketing campaigns post-COVID. As Director and Chief Executive of the Association of Leading Visitor Attractions since September 2011, Bernard oversees advocacy and networking for major attractions throughout Britain. Bernard also chairs the Board of Trustees at the People's History Museum and served as the Mayor of London's Ambassador for Cultural Tourism from June 2017 to April 2024. Previous roles include membership on St Paul's Cathedral Council and leadership positions with LIFT and WWF-UK, reflecting a strong commitment to cultural, tourism, and conservation initiatives.
