Ellis Selway is currently serving as the Peatland Restoration Project Manager at National Trust, where the role involves managing a 268Ha lowland peat restoration project at Wicken Fen NNR, aimed at carbon capture and enhancement of open fen, supported by the Nature for Climate Grant. Previously, Ellis held the position of Geomorphology Technical Specialist at the Environment Agency from April 2012 to November 2023, and worked as a Community Reserves Officer at Cambridge City Council from January 2003 to November 2011. Early career experiences include serving as a Countryside Ranger at Isle of Wight Council and completing a Trainee Warden apprenticeship at Teignbridge District Council. Additionally, Ellis worked as a Cartographer at the Farming and Rural Conservation Agency and a GIS Technician at BEAZER GROUP LIMITED. Ellis holds a Master of Science in Ecology and Management of the Natural Environment from the University of Bristol and a Bachelor of Science in Geography with Remote Sensing from Bath Spa University.
