Sarah Pemberton

Sarah Pemberton is an experienced professional with a diverse background in operations, consultancy, and environmental management. Currently serving as the Assistant Director of Operations for the North East at the National Trust since June 2011, Sarah has held various leadership positions, including Assistant Director (Consultancy) North and Head of Conservation for YNE. Prior experience includes managing a team of consultants at The UKRC and coordinating career initiatives for women in STEM fields. Sarah's career began at the Environment Agency, where multiple roles included Programme Manager overseeing compliance with EU regulations. Educational qualifications include a degree in Ecology from The University of Edinburgh and postgraduate certifications in Career Management and Environmental Management from University of Surrey and Liverpool John Moores University, respectively.
