Simon Bates is an experienced project manager and environmental specialist with a strong background in ecology and sustainability. Currently serving as Project Manager at the National Trust since April 2023, Simon oversees nature recovery initiatives at the Killerton estate. As a Director at FLOW: Exe River Orchard CIC since July 2020, Simon fosters collaboration among artists, scientists, and the community to create an innovative orchard geared towards a warming climate. Additionally, Simon has been a South West Committee Member for the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management since January 2017.
