Mariam Elsayeh Ibrahim

Mariam Elsayeh Ibrahim is an accomplished professional in the field of journalism and media with diverse experience across multiple organizations. Currently serving as a Training Officer, Membership Secretary, and member of the Ethics Council at the National Union of Journalists since January 2023, Mariam also holds the position of Managing Director at Hybrid Intelligence, where the mission focuses on empowering non-English speaking journalists with technology. As a correspondent for Al Jazeera Media Network, Mariam engages in significant reporting, while also working as a freelance translator for the International Centre for Religion & Diplomacy and as a producer for Freelancer news. Previous roles include coordinating interviews for BBC Arabic Radio and reporting for Popular Science and Sky News Arabia. Mariam earned a Bachelor's degree in Arabic Language and Literature from Alexandria University in 2012.
