David Kreps

David Kreps is an Associate Professor of Information Systems at the National University of Ireland, Galway, since December 2020. Previously, David served as Interim Associate Dean for Research & Innovation at Salford Business School from March 2019 to November 2020, where David led the development of a research strategy and managed the School’s return to REF2021. David's academic journey includes roles as Reader, Senior Lecturer, and Lecturer at the University of Salford, complemented by ownership of fourquarters IS Ltd, a web development and accessibility consultancy. Additionally, David held leadership positions in various arts organizations, including Chairman of Horse and Bamboo Theatre Co, and was involved in the Big Chip Awards as a judge. David holds a PhD in Sociology of Technology and multiple degrees, with a focus on Cultural Studies and Philosophy.
