Edward Jones

Edward Jones is a highly experienced academic and industry professional in the field of Electronic Engineering. Currently serving as Director of the Connaught Automotive Research (CAR) Group and Professor in Electrical & Electronic Engineering at the National University of Ireland, Galway, Edward also holds leadership positions as Head of the School of Engineering and Vice-Dean of the College of Engineering & Informatics. Prior experience includes roles as Technical Consultant in wireless DSP development at Duolog Technologies Ltd., Senior DSP Architect at Innovada, and Leader of DSP Development at PMC-Sierra. Edward's academic qualifications include a PhD in Electronic Engineering and a BE in Electronic Engineering from the University of Galway, along with a Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education earned in 2009-2010.
