Eoin Madden

Eoin Madden is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in software development and project management. Currently serving as Senior Manager at the University of Galway since May 2024, Eoin previously held the role of Merchant Services Development Director and Scrum Master at Planet from May 2012 to April 2024. Eoin has a background in local politics, having run as a candidate for the Green Party in Galway County Council in 2024, and as an independent candidate in 2019, focusing on homelessness and environmental issues. Earlier experience includes a significant tenure as a Senior Software Developer at ICE Computer Services Ltd, where Eoin managed various projects and teams. Eoin holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology and Telecommunications from the University of Limerick and a certificate in Managing People from Leap Leadership.
