Lokesh Joshi

Lokesh Joshi is an accomplished academic and entrepreneur with extensive experience in glycosciences and research innovation. As the Founder of Aquila Bioscience since August 2012, Lokesh has played a pivotal role in advancing the field. At the National University of Ireland, Galway, Lokesh has served as the Stokes Professor of Glycosciences and Director of the Alimentary Glycoscience Research Cluster, along with the position of Vice President for Research and Innovation since 2008. Previous roles include serving as a National Delegate for the European University Association's Research Programme Working Group from 2014 to January 2021, and adjunct professorships at George Mason University and Arizona State University. Lokesh's academic background includes a Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Biotechnology at Cornell University following a Bachelor's and Master's in Life Sciences from the University of Rajasthan.
