Ryan Young

Ryan Young is a Lead Researcher at Technology Innovation Institute, currently leading a chemistry project on bioactive metabolites from Irish deep-sea corals and sponges funded by Science Foundation Ireland. Prior to this, Ryan worked as a Senior Researcher at National University of Ireland, Galway where Ryan focused on marine biodiscovery research. Ryan also held positions at University of South Florida and Marine Institute, contributing to various scientific accomplishments in natural products and biodiscovery research. Ryan completed a PhD in Chemistry at Rhodes University and pursued postdoctoral research in Natural Products Chemistry and Pharmacognosy at University of Galway.
