Yingwei Yan

Yingwei Yan is an accomplished academic specializing in Geographic Information Science and Cartography. Since October 2020, Yingwei Yan has served as the Director of Taught Graduate and CET programmes in Applied GIS and has progressed from Lecturer to Senior Lecturer of GIScience at the National University of Singapore. Prior to this role, Yingwei Yan was a Research Fellow at the National University of Singapore from December 2017 to September 2019 and a Postdoctoral Fellow at Heidelberg University from October 2016 to December 2017. Yingwei Yan earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Geographic Information Science and Cartography from the National University of Singapore between August 2012 and September 2016.
