Rhonda Spears Bell has extensive experience in marketing and communications. Rhonda began their career as a Public Affairs Coordinator & Producer at WSB-TV in 1990 and later became the Director of Communications for the Mayor's Office in the City of New Orleans. In 2002, they joined The United States Conference of Mayors as the Director of Communications and Marketing. Rhonda then founded their own marketing group, RSB Marketing Group, before becoming the Senior Vice President & Chief Marketing Officer at the National Urban League in 2008. In their role at the National Urban League, Rhonda is responsible for developing and executing marketing and communications strategies, managing major conferences and events, and solidifying the organization's brand identity nationwide.

Rhonda Spears Bell completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communications with a concentration in Radio, TV, and Film from Clark Atlanta University. Rhonda attended this institution from 1986 to 1990.
