Rena Carlson

Rena Carlson, DVM, currently serves as a GP Clinical Mentor at National Veterinary Associates since June 2022 and holds the position of Past President of the American Veterinary Medical Association, having also served as President and President-Elect. Additionally, Rena has been a Veterinarian at Gate City Veterinary Associates since March 2019. Rena's extensive experience includes roles as Attending Veterinarian at Idaho State University from 1991 to 2019 and as a Veterinarian at Alpine Animal Hospital from 1989 to 2019. Rena obtained a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Washington State University, following an earlier education at Idaho State University.
