Bill Clark

Bill Clark is the Chief People Officer at National Vision. Prior to this, they served as Senior Vice President Human Resources at Five Below from October 2014 to June 2019. Before that, they were Vice President, Human Resources at Dollar General from April 2012 to October 2014.

Previously, Bill was with Sam's Club for six years, serving as Vice President Human Resources from August 2006 to April 2012. In this role, they were responsible for various functions including field and corporate HR, talent management, compensation, talent development, talent acquisition, and succession planning. From January 2005 to December 2006, they served as Sr Manager, HR at Sam's Club.

Before joining Sam's Club, Bill was with Wal-Mart for three years as Sr Manager, Training and Development from January 2002 to December 2005. Prior to Wal-Mart, they worked at Williams as a Training Specialist from January 1999 to December 2002. Earlier in their career, they held positions of Assistant Registrar and Academic Counselor at Rogers State University from January 1997 to December 1999.

Bill Clark has a Masters in Training and Development from Northeastern State University, as well as a Bachelor's in Biology from the same school.
