Maronica Dewar

Maronica Dewar has over 30 years of work experience in various roles related to managed care operations, revenue cycle management, business development, and healthcare administration. Maronica has held senior director positions at National Vision Inc. since 2017, overseeing managed care operations. Prior to that, they worked as the director of managed care and director of managed care operations at the same company. Before joining National Vision Inc., Dewar served as the director of revenue cycle management at Go Now Doctors from 2016 to 2017. Maronica also held the position of business development manager at Parallon from 2015 to 2016. Earlier in their career, they worked as a senior manager at Hill Rom from 2007 to 2011. Dewar's first significant role in the healthcare industry was as a manager at North Shore LIJ Health System, where they oversaw day-to-day operations for patient financial services, including billing, cash applications, customer service, and collections for five member hospitals within the health system. Maronica also participated in a steering committee for revenue cycle management.

Maronica Dewar obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree with a specialization in Project Management from DeVry University in 2015. Prior to that, they studied Nursing at Farmingdale State College from 2005 to 2006 and at Nassau Community College from 2004 to 2005, with a focus on Business Administration.
