Collin O'Mara

Collin O'Mara serves as the President & CEO of the National Wildlife Federation since July 2014. Previously, O'Mara held the position of Secretary of Natural Resources and Environmental Control for the State of Delaware, under Governor Jack A. Markell, from April 2009 to July 2014. O'Mara's earlier experience includes serving as a Clean Technology Strategist for the City of San Jose from September 2006 to April 2009 and as the Director of SyraStat for the City of Syracuse from February 2002 to September 2003. O'Mara's education includes a Master’s degree in Economics & Politics from the University of Oxford and a Master’s in Public Administration with a focus on Economic Development and Environmental Economics from Syracuse University, along with a Bachelor’s degree in History and Classics from Dartmouth College.
