Emily Hoerner

Emily Hoerner, MPA, serves as the Senior Director of Institutional Relations at the National Wildlife Federation, overseeing a team dedicated to growing and diversifying institutional funding. With a strong background in donor-centric fundraising, Hoerner has successfully managed complex grants portfolios and led efforts to raise over $30 million annually. Previous roles at the Federation include Director of Institutional Relations and Senior Officer for Foundation & Government Relations, where Hoerner developed systems to enhance institutional fundraising efforts and coached institutional fundraisers. Educational qualifications include a degree from Syracuse University - Maxwell School and American University School of International Service.
