Michelle A. T. Hughes

Michelle A.T. Hughes serves as Co-Executive Director at the National Young Farmers Coalition, where leadership responsibilities include overseeing compliance, efficiency, and performance in alignment with 501(c)(3) requirements, as well as driving the organization's strategic plan. Past roles at the Coalition include Operations and Impact Director, Equity and Organizational Change Director, and Federal Policy Associate, with significant contributions to racial equity initiatives and federal policy engagement. Additionally, Michelle holds a position as a Community Based Organization Representative on the USDA Equity Commission and participated in the Feedback Champions Fellowship. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Food Studies from New York University and a Bachelor of Arts in Italian Language and Literature from Haverford College.
