Caroline Mejía

Caroline Mejía is currently serving as a Home Study and Post-Release Services Case Manager at the National Youth Advocate Program since February 2024. Previously, Caroline held the position of Spanish Teacher and World Language Department Chair at Holy Cross District High School from August 2019 to June 2023. Prior experience includes roles as Program Coordinator for the Children's Legal Program at Americans for Immigrant Justice, Program Specialist at Gulf Coast Jewish Family and Community Services, Certified Bilingual Educator at Fort Worth ISD, and Project Development Intern at AIDA. Additionally, Caroline completed an internship at the WKU ALIVE Center for Community Partnerships. Academic qualifications include an M.S.Ed in Community and Social Change from the University of Miami, a Graduate Certificate in Bilingual, Multilingual, and Multicultural Education from Southern Methodist University, and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Affairs from Western Kentucky University.
