Alexandria Procter

Alexandria Procter is an undergrad student at The University of Cape Town. She was elected to the Students Representative Council. In this role, the extent of the student housing crises in South Africa became apparent to Ms Procter and so she launched a website called DigsConnect.com, which was to become the largest student housing platform on the African continent just two years after launch. Ms Procter is now the CEO, co-founder, and Head of Product at DigsConnect.com.

She is also a Board Director for the National Youth Development Agency, as well as for the Cape Innovation and Technology Initiative. Ms Procter is a member of Mensa, and she is pursuing her private pilot's licence. She is also an advocate for wellness, meditation, mindfulness, and an avid mountaineer, having summited Kilimanjaro, trekked to Everest Base Camp and trekked the Inca Trail. More than anything, Ms Procter is an enthusiastic optimist and a patriotic South African that believes strongly in the future of the African continent and the potential that it holds.
