Bart began the legal career as an Advocate specializing in Corporate and Insolvency Law at Dirkzwager advocaten & notarissen from September 2012 to October 2015, offering legal support to businesses and local governments. Bart holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree from Tilburg University and a Gymnasium diploma from Mill Hill College.

The Homeownership Guarantee Fund (Waarborgfonds Eigen Woningen) is a non-profit private foundation. Main objectives are to promote homeownership and to improve the quality of owner-occupied dwellings. To realize these objectives, the Homeownership Guarantee Fund is issuing the National Mortgage Guarantee (Nationale Hypotheek Garantie) as of 1995.
