Maaike Peters has extensive experience in the legal field, currently serving as an Onderzoeker at Nationale ombudsman since August 2022, while simultaneously holding the position of rechter-plaatsvervanger at Rechtbank Den Haag since May 2019. In addition, Maaike has been a Wetenschappelijk Medewerker at Hoge Raad der Nederlanden since August 2015.
