Maurice van Bogget

Maurice van Bogget currently serves as an Onderzoeker at De Nationale ombudsman since October 2021, having previously held the position of Juridisch behandelaar at Schadefonds Geweldsmisdrijven from December 2020 to September 2021, where responsibilities included conducting dossier research and maintaining contacts regarding victim applications. Maurice's earlier experience includes serving as a Directeur en Leerkracht at NTC School De Oranje Pauw from January 2012 to December 2014, where leadership and teaching duties were performed, as well as previously working at De Nationale ombudsman from July 1999 to June 2007 as an Onderzoeker, focusing on complaint investigations related to police and justice. Earlier career experience also includes the role of Gerechtssecretaris at Rechtbank Amsterdam from January 1996 to June 1999, involving court secretarial duties and the creation of legal documents. Maurice van Bogget holds a Master’s degree in Law, specializing in Dutch Criminal and Criminal Procedure Law from Maastricht University and completed HAVO and VWO at Philips van Horne Scholengemeenschap.
