Helen Evans

Paper Conservator at Nationalmuseum, Sweden

Helen Evans is a highly experienced paper conservator with a strong educational background in conservation and art history. Since September 2010, Helen has been working at Nationalmuseum in Sweden as a Paper Conservator. Helen also gained valuable experience at Kungliga biblioteket National Library of Sweden from August 2022 to August 2023 during a leave of absence from Nationalmuseum. Helen's previous roles include working as a Paper Conservator at Tate from March 2008 to August 2010 and as a Project Conservator (Digitization) at The National Archives in the UK for a brief period in late 2007. Helen holds a PhD in Conservation from the Royal College of Art and has completed both an MA and a Post-graduate Diploma in Conservation at the University of the Arts London, alongside a degree in History of Art from the University of Warwick.
