Ayesha D’Avena is vice president of advocacy and strategy at NQF. She is responsible for directing and executing NQF’s overall strategic plan, identifying opportunities to advance NQF’s mission, and managing cross-departmental strategic initiatives and programs. Ayesha is an experienced executive with more than 20 years of public- and private-sector strategic planning experience leading complex initiatives from concept definition through to implementation.
Before joining NQF, Ayesha was a senior advisor at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, where she oversaw the strategic planning, launch, and execution of Medicare’s value-based Quality Payment Program. Prior to that, Ayesha’s consulting experience includes designing physician-centric and user-centered programs. She has led numerous strategy and organizational transformation initiatives encompassing change management, digital service transformation, product development, and customer experience.
Ayesha has a Master of Business Administration from Georgetown University and Bachelor of Arts in English and History from the University of Virginia.
