Chuck Amos has a strong background in healthcare quality and systems work. Chuck is currently working as the Senior Director - Quality Innovation at the National Quality Forum (NQF), where he lead diverse projects focused on improving the American healthcare system. Prior to this, he served as the Director of Orthopaedic Outcomes at MedStar Union Memorial Hospital, where he led a Patient Reported Outcomes program and coordinated the use of PROMs to capture patient outcomes. Chuck also worked as the Director of Performance Improvement at Health Care for the Homeless, where he directed data-informed initiatives resulting in significant quality improvements. Additionally, he held roles as a Quality Analyst at People's Community Health Centers and a Programmer/Analyst at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Earlier in his career, he worked as a Web Developer at Burnett Group and Web Intelligence Network, gaining experience in web development and mission-oriented work.
Chuck Amos earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Healthcare Information Services from The Johns Hopkins University - Carey Business School, where he studied from 2003 to 2007. Chuck furthered his education by obtaining a Master of Business Administration with a specialization in "The Business of Medicine" - Medical Services Management from the same institution, studying from 2007 to 2012.
