Shawn Nelson has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of IT. Shawn started their career as a Systems Engineer at M-Logic IT Solutions, where they led a team responsible for IT systems and network infrastructure. Shawn successfully implemented strategic projects and recommended solutions that improved efficiency and performance for clients.

After that, they joined TFF Consulting as a Technical Consultant, where they provided objective recommendations to improve system reliability and overall efficiencies. Shawn also developed new process design workflows and identified cloud solutions to increase data protection and reduce costs.

Shawn then became a Technical Manager at TFF Consulting, where they led the growth of the business into new accounts and increased revenue through managed services. Shawn also directed the technical resources responsible for IT systems and network operations.

Following that, they worked at Lumenate as a Solutions Engineer and later as a Senior Solutions Architect. Shawn contributed to the technical roadmap for the data center practice and led pre/post sales activities for Fortune 1000 clients, driving increased share of wallet for product resell and managed service offerings.

Shawn later joined JPS Health Network as an Enterprise Architect, where they provided technical vision and leadership for infrastructure solutions. Shawn developed a comprehensive 5-year roadmap for the IT department, increasing efficiency and scalability, reducing costs, and ensuring customer expectations were met. Shawn also managed and mentored a team of engineers responsible for the hospital IT environment.

Currently, Shawn is the Director of IT at Nation's Best Sports. Shawn is responsible for the enterprise-wide IT strategy and operations, supporting independent retailers across multiple countries. Shawn oversees the management and implementation of technology throughout the company and collaborates with internal IT and outside vendors/partners.
