Liz Dixon Smith

Liz Dixon Smith is a seasoned finance and risk management professional with extensive experience in treasury consultancy and financial stability analysis. Currently serving as a Senior Treasury Consultant at Nationwide Building Society since April 2016, Liz has held various senior positions including Finance Business Partner and Planning Consultant. Prior roles include Senior Adviser in the Bank and Insurance Analysis Division at the Bank of England, Head of Market Knowledge at WRAP, and Senior Manager at the Reserve Bank of Australia. Liz's career began at the Bank of England as an Economist and includes experience as a Research Engineer at GEC Marconi. Academic qualifications include a BA (Hons) in Computer Science from the University of Cambridge, an MSc in Economics and Finance from the University of Warwick, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Business Administration from The Open University, complemented by ACCA certification.
