Tony Wells

Tony Wells is an experienced senior manager currently serving as the Senior Manager Proposition Hub at Nationwide Building Society since March 2024. Previously, Tony held various prominent roles at Barclays UK from July 2015 to March 2024, including Head of In-Life Proposition for Customer Sentiment and Risk Management in Barclays Premier Banking, where Tony analyzed customer sentiment to shape strategic direction and managed various aspects of risk and consumer duty. Tony also served as Vice President, Senior Proposition Manager for Premier Banking, overseeing strategic delivery plans for products and partnerships with Barclaycard and American Express. Before joining Barclays, Tony worked at Barclays Wealth, RAC, AMP, and Abbey, accumulating extensive expertise in product development, marketing, and risk management across banking and financial services. Tony earned a degree in CIM Marketing from The University of Manchester.
