Elise Dawkins

Elise Dawkins is an experienced professional specializing in early childhood education and interpreting services. Currently serving as a School Liaison for the Hematology/Oncology/Bone Marrow Transplant department at Nationwide Children's Hospital since October 2017, Elise also holds the title of Early Childhood Specialist. Previous roles include Principal Office Secretary II at Maryland School for the Deaf and Teacher's Aide at St. Rita School for the Deaf, where Elise supported children aged 0-4 in an integrated educational setting. Additional experience includes interpreting services with Columbus City Schools and InterpretingPlus, as well as outreach and customer service coordination at Deaf Initiatives/Keepsake Theme Quilts. Elise possesses a Master of Science in Early Childhood Special Education from Johns Hopkins University, a Bachelor of Arts in Interpretation from Gallaudet University, and an Associate of Applied Science in Interpreting/ASL Education from Columbus State Community College.
