Fareeda Haamid

Fareeda Haamid is an accomplished Associate Professor of Pediatrics at The Ohio State University College of Medicine since May 2023. With extensive experience as a Pediatrician at Nationwide Children's Hospital since 2010, Fareeda also completed an Adolescent Medicine Fellowship at Texas Children's Hospital from 2007 to 2010, specializing in adolescent care, including reproductive health and mental health. Prior pediatric residency training was gained at GORYEB CHILDREN'S CENTER from 2004 to 2007. Fareeda holds a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the New York Institute of Technology (2000-2004) and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Montclair State University (1992-1997).
