Heather Degenova

Heather DeGenova has over 25 years of work experience in the mortgage and title industry. Heather started their career as a Legal Assistant at Andrew L. Cohen, PC, where they conducted bank closings and handled legal cases. Heather then worked as a Title Officer at LEGEND ABSTRACT, preparing title commitments and policies. At Emigrant Mortgage Company, Inc., Heather held various roles including Mortgage Specialist, Closing Department AT, and Post Closing Manager VP. In these positions, they audited and quality controlled loan closing packages, managed a team of auditors, and supported multiple mortgage departments. Since 2012, Heather has been with Nationwide Equities Corp., starting as a DE Underwriter and later transitioning into Operations Manager and Compliance/Quality Control Manager roles. Currently, they serve as the Director of Operations.

Heather DeGenova obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Law and Society from Ramapo College of New Jersey, graduating in 1992. Prior to that, they attended Spring Valley High School, although the specific years and degree field of study are not provided.
