Tom Hickman

President & Chief Member Advocate at Nationwide Marketing Group

Tom Hickman is the current President and Chief Member Advocate at Nationwide Marketing Group. Tom has been with the company since June of 2015, and in their current position since January of 2018. Prior to that, they served as the Executive Vice President at Nationwide Marketing Group from May 2012 to May 2015.

Tom Hickman has over 20 years of experience in the consumer electronics industry. Tom started their career at Toshiba in 2002 as a National Account Manager. In this role, they were responsible for sales management of key national accounts including Best Buy, Target, and Amazon.com. Tom was promoted to Director of Sales- Retail in 2010 and then to Director- Strategic Accounts in 2005. In both roles, they were responsible for managing Consumer Electronics Retail and Buying Groups teams for PC, Visual Products, and Digital Life Products in the U.S. market.

In 2012, Tom Hickman left Toshiba to join Nationwide Marketing Group as Senior Vice President - Electronics. In this role, they oversaw the electronics department and was responsible for product assortment, pricing, and promotions for the electronics category. Tom was promoted to Executive Vice President in 2015 and then to their current role as President & Chief Member Advocate in 2018.

Tom Hickman has a Master of Studies in Law from Wake Forest University School of Law, a Master of Science in Leadership from The Citadel, and a Master of Business Administration from Florida International University - College of Business.
