Syed Rizvi

Syed Rizvi is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the insurance and finance sectors. Currently serving as Vice President and Chief Specialty Insurance Officer at Nationwide Insurance since October 2007, Rizvi leads Nationwide Innovative Solutions, managing a $350 million business with a diverse portfolio of niche insurance lines. Previously, Rizvi held the role of Vice President of Finance at Nationwide Insurance, overseeing enterprise performance management and driving significant cost savings. Prior experience includes Vice President of Finance at Limited Brands, where strategic guidance encompassed mergers, acquisitions, and international expansion, and Associate Principal at McKinsey & Company, directing strategic projects for Fortune 500 companies. Rizvi holds an MBA in Finance and Strategy from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, a B.Tech. in Civil Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, and an M.S. in Environmental Health Engineering from the University at Buffalo.
