Alessandra de Santi

Alessandra De Santi is an experienced professional in the fields of regenerative design and sustainable innovation, currently serving as an Evolution Guide at NATIVA, the first Certified B Corp® in Italy. Prior experience includes a role as R&D Project Manager at Mondi Group, focusing on interdisciplinary research projects in sustainable packaging. Alessandra was also a Visiting Researcher at Karl-Franzens-Universität Graz and completed a PhD at the University of Groningen, specializing in lignin valorization. Educational credentials include a Master’s Degree in Industrial Chemistry and a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry for Industry and Environment from Università di Pisa. Early academic exposure involved a Bachelor Thesis project at Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche and a Visiting Student experience at the University of York in green chemistry.
