Principal Interaction Designer at Native Design

Stephen Meadows has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Stephen began their career at Sony Computer Entertainment Europe in 2008 as a Junior Interface Designer, where they worked for two years before transitioning to the role of Interaction Designer. As an Interaction Designer, Stephen was responsible for designing a wide variety of interfaces, devices, and inputs, with a focus on both game design and interaction design. Stephen brainstormed new concepts, developed ideas through every stage of the design process, and collaborated with teams on projects. In 2014, Stephen joined Native Design as an Interaction Designer, and later progressed to the role of Senior Interaction Designer and Principal Interaction Designer. At Native Design, they worked within the Experience Design team, designing experiences for clients across various platforms. Stephen'sresponsibilities included information architecture development, UI specification and documentation, collaboration with visual and motion design teams, support of user research activities, development of use case scenarios, collaboration with industrial designers, liaison with developers, and ensuring that deadlines and deliverables were met. Throughout their career, Stephen consistently pushed the level of quality in both thinking and execution while constantly coming up with new ideas and problem-solving approaches.

Stephen Meadows attended Arts University Bournemouth from 2004 to 2008, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Interactive Media. In 2015, they also obtained a certification in "Journey Into Mobile" from Code School.
