Role Purpose

Native Foodways Head Baker / Chef / Cook is a senior baker, chef, or cook who is the leader of our kitchen or bakery. Lead and supervise a commercial bakery/kitchen, from menu design to management of a chef team. You do not need to be a formally qualified chef but demonstrated experience is necessary.

Tasks and Duties

Plan, design and cost menus, liaise with suppliers and manage kitchen budgets. Supervise kitchen staff and resolve issues as they arise. Work closely with the restaurant manager, cooking team and customer service to ensure the business runs smoothly.

Learning and Development

You will be supported to gain training and qualifications in management, cooking, and baking.

Salary and Benefits

The salary range for this role is $80,000 - $100,000 pro-rata plus super depending on experience and responsibilities.
