Matthew Hornsey has over 20 years of experience in various roles within the insurance and billing industry. Matthew is currently the Senior Accounting Manager at National Interstate Insurance Company since October 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Accounting Manager at the same company from April 2020 to October 2021.
From 2016 to 2020, Matthew worked at Westfield Insurance as the Customer Care Center Billing Leader. In this role, they were responsible for managing and coordinating the operations of the Customer Care Center, including billing contact center, customer support team, and agency accounting. Matthew also handled receivables and credit risk management for direct and agency billed premiums, as well as billing and collections of insurance premiums.
Before joining Westfield Insurance, Matthew worked at National Interstate Insurance Company as the Senior Manager of Billing Operations from September 2013 to October 2016. Prior to that, they served as the Billing Collections Manager at CenturyLink from April 2012 to September 2013.
Matthew's career began in 2002 as the President of Exquisite Fashions, LLC, where they held the position until April 2012.
Matthew Hornsey completed their Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from Webster University from 2009 to 2012. Following that, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Webster University between 2012 and 2013.
