Dragos Manea

Dragos Manea is a highly experienced political affairs officer currently serving at NATO since October 2019, where responsibilities include acting as Chief of Staff to the Deputy Secretary General. Previously, Dragos held the position of Diplomatic Service Officer at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Romania and worked as an expert on international law and security issues at Strategikon. Additional roles include Programme Manager at "Partners for Development," Research Trainee at the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and multiple positions at NATO HQ and UGIR. Dragos began a career in journalism as a contributing writer for Curierul National Newspaper and gained international experience as an intern with the United Nations. Academic credentials include a Master’s Degree in Security and Diplomacy from the National University of Political Science & Public Administration, a NATO Legal Advisor Course, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from the University of Bucharest.
