Mario Beccia

Mario Beccia is an experienced information technology and cybersecurity professional, currently serving as the Deputy Chief Information Officer at NATO since 2021, where leadership focuses on enhancing NATO’s ICT ecosystem and implementing long-term strategies. Concurrently, Mario holds positions as a Virtual Advisory Board Member at Virtual Advisory Board and as a CISO Benelux Governing Body Member with Gartner C-Level Communities, providing strategic insights on cybersecurity trends. Previously, Mario served as Chief Information Security Officer for the European Defence Agency, among various roles at NATO, including Cybersecurity Program Manager. Mario’s educational background includes an MBA in International Business from Solvay Brussels School and a Master's in eBusiness Management from MIP Politecnico di Milano, complemented by extensive project management and IT expertise across multiple organizations.
