Miroslav Slezak

Miroslav Slezak has extensive experience in information and communication technology management, currently serving as the Director of Information, Communication and Technology Management at NATO HQ since May 2024. Prior to this role, Slezak was the Head of the ICT and Facility Management Department for the European Union Agency for the Space Programme from January 2020 to April 2024 and led the IT Unit at the European Defence Agency from November 2015 to December 2019. Earlier positions include ICT Officer at the Single Resolution Board, where a new Tier 3+ data center was designed, and Head of ICT & Logistics at the European GNSS Agency, contributing significantly to various IT infrastructure projects. Slezak's career began at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, where numerous information systems were developed for Czech embassies and representations. Slezak's educational background includes a postgraduate degree in Informatics and Cybernetics and a Master's degree in Computer Software Engineering from Brno University of Technology.
