Neil Abbott

Neil Abbott is currently the Head of Financial Policy, Budgets, and Analysis at NATO, where they leverage over 15 years of experience in financial management, planning, and analysis. A certified management accountant (CMA), Neil has excelled in financial modeling, forecasting, and reporting, while leading a team of financial professionals to enhance operational efficiency. Previously, Neil served in various analytical and managerial roles, including Change Manager for the UK Ministry of Defence and Project Controls Manager at Defence Equipment & Support. Neil holds a BSc (Hons) in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Leeds and a Master's in Accounting and Business/Management from The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
