Scott Bray is the current Assistant Secretary General for Intelligence and Security at NATO, a position they began in 2023. Prior to this role, Bray served in the US Navy from 2020 to 2023 as Deputy Director of Naval Intelligence and Director of the Naval Intelligence Activity. They also worked at the Office of the Director of National Intelligence from 2012 to 2020, overseeing intelligence efforts related to East Asia and providing expert assessments on military issues. Earlier in their career, Bray held various intelligence roles, including as Senior Intelligence Officer for China and Special Assistant to the US Defense Attaché at the US Embassy in Beijing. Bray earned their degree from Columbia University in the City of New York from 1996 to 1998.
