Duncan McIver has an extensive work experience history. Duncan started their career at Unilever in 1999 as the European Planning Manager, responsible for supply and demand management across the European network. Duncan then held various roles at Unilever, including Procurement Director, Manufacturing Director for Powders and Liquids, Manufacturing Board Chairman, Supply Chain Director, and Transformation Director. In 2014, they joined General Cable as the VP Transformation Office and later became the Vice President of Operations and Procurement. In 2018, they joined SanLucar Group as the Senior Director of Operations and currently holds the position of Chief Operations Officer at Natra since 2019.

Duncan McIver holds a Master's degree in Global Supply Chains from IE Business School, which they obtained in 2007. Prior to that, they completed their Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) in Mechanical Engineering and Management from the University of Birmingham, which they earned between 1987 and 1991. In addition, they have obtained certifications such as C.Eng from IMechE in 1995 and C.Eng IMechE from Imeche.
